• Building the technology capability of our membership.
• Participating in community based workforce programs to provide staffing.
• Working to develop options for prevailing wage projects so that non-union members can participate fully.
• Providing technical support and training programs where needed to build capacity.
• Developing better relationships of trust with our union partners, and with AGC and ABC.
• Developing new and continuing existing partnerships with local business organizations and minority chambers.
• Developing Equipment Sharing banks.
• Recognition of general contractor partners that are working well with local MBEs (minority business enterprises)
• Building a bridge with Washington projects and opportunities.
• Have a voice in local state and federal issues that impact our businesses.

• Finding solutions and eliminating barriers to the low and sometimes non existent percentage of African American participation of public projects.
