This class is valuable because it encourages critical thinking when evaluating a home. Without this training, there are several elements I would have missed.

Building energy services firm providing HVAC & BMS Design, Installation, and Demand Side Management (DSM) for all building types (commercial, industrial, agricultural, and government) with a focus and specialty in the commercial buildings sector.

Participating in the Building Green Futures Cohort has been a great experience for both my professional development and the growth of Burch Energy. The SHP certification is a valuable credential that helps demonstrate to clients and partners that we’re committed to sustainable, high-performance building practices. Being part of the cohort also gave me the chance to connect with other contractors and energy professionals, which expanded my network and opened doors to new ideas and potential collaborations.

I would absolutely encourage other contractors and business owners to join this program — it’s informative, engaging, and a great way to grow both your knowledge and your professional community.

This class was amazing! I think it would also be a great 1-week class format to get more in depth and allow for deeper discussion. It was very good. The only thing I could suggest is to have the course be longer.

The building green futures cohort was great, and it is a great opportunity for adding new business,  it is a different path, so it will take me a while to implement and add to my existing setup, but yes, I like it and looking forward to working along these lines.

The classes were great and for sure underline the need to keep on doing these knowledge base classes. There is always room for improvement and gained new skills to provide better and more comprehensive services

THANK YOU NAMC

This was one of my favorite classes/training to take so far. It’s nice to break away from the usual commercial construction and get more hands on with grass roots residential building science.

I wish it could be longer, maybe one more day of in class instruction. There’s just a lot of material to cover and lots of questions to ask!
