The Skanska CMBB program series aims to help participants understand the
expectations of working with large general contractors, provide accessibility
to essential information, and address any barriers to success. The program is
a free, ten-week coaching and education series designed to provide specific
training to diverse firms interested in working with Skanska. Participants
receive instruction from Skanska and industry professionals who share their
knowledge and provide insight into what it takes to be a successful business
in the construction industry.
The CMBB program meets once per week for ten virtual sessions to allow for
flexibility in participation. However, we will have two in-person sessions, one
from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. PST, and one with a happy hour with networking at the
corresponding Skanska office in Portland, Dallas and Seattle. We will also
present project opportunities.
Topics covered include bidding, contracts, safety, business development,
project execution and working with Skanska basics.
