NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
18330 E Burnside Bldg. Deconstruction/Demolition ITB 25-37
Sealed bids for the Deconstruction/Demolition, Restoration and Cleanup of building at
18330 E. Burnside will be received at the front desk in the main lobby of Gresham City Hall, 1333
N.W. Eastman Parkway, Gresham, Oregon 97030, addressed to Rachelle Perry, until
Wednesday, July 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM PDT. Late bids will be retained but not considered for
award. The bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in Conference Room 1A. The
estimate for this project is $115,000 to $125,000.
Two quotes are being requested based on ORS 279C.510 – Demolition contracts to require
material salvage; lawn and landscape maintenance contracts to require composting or
mulching. (1) Every public improvement contract for demolition shall contain a condition
requiring the contractor to salvage or recycle construction and demolition debris, if feasible and
cost-effective. (2) Every public improvement contract for lawn and landscape maintenance shall
contain a condition requiring the contractor to compost or mulch yard waste material at an
approved site, if feasible and cost-effective. [2003 c.794 §139]

The project completion date is October 30, 2025.
The apparent low bidder will be required to have the current edition of the City of Gresham Public
Works Standards.
Bidders must submit a Contractor’s Qualification Application with their Bid. See PWS Subsection
102.03 for more details.
A MANDATORY pre-bid walk-through will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM
PDT time at 18330 E Burnside, Portland, OR 97233.
All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished by the City of Gresham, mailed or
delivered in a sealed envelope plainly marked “SEALED BID for ITB 25-37 18330 E
