Hoffman Construction Company, Construction Manager/General Contractor (“CM/GC” or “Contractor”) for DPW Project No. 19607 SW Vets Home Boise (“Project”) being performed for the State of Idaho (“Owner”) requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package #1 – All Work. This bid package includes the following: Demo, Earthwork, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Architectural Woodwork, Waterproofing, Roofing, Cement Board System, Fireproofing, Smoke Barriers, Architectural Sheet Metal, Walls and Ceilings, Overhead Doors, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Glazing, Tiling, Flooring, Painting, Signage, Toilet Accessories, Cubicle Curtains, Lockers, Fireplace, Flagpoles, Laundry Equipment, Food Service, Fall Protection, Window Coverings, Elevators, Fire Suppression, Plumbing and HVAC, Electrical, Site Furnishings, Site Concrete, Unit Paving, Playground Surfacing, Decorative Metal Fences and Gates, Landscaping and Irrigation.
A non-mandatory, but strongly encouraged, set of virtual Pre-Bid Meetings has been scheduled for 3:00 p.m., MDT June 12 or June 16 on Microsoft Teams. All bidders are encouraged to attend one of the pre-bid meetings and the optional walk in order to acquaint themselves with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed and to correlate personal observations with the requirements of the contract documents. In addition, an Optional Walk-Through of the site will take place on Friday, June 20 at 3:00 PM MDT. Attendees must bring/wear their own OSHA-compliant Gloves, Safety Glasses, long pants and boots (hard hat and vest not required). Attendees shall meet at 320 N Collins Rd, Boise, ID 83702. Trades with work inside the existing building (Demo, MEP, Framing will need to be prepared to show ID and complete a health screening for the walk inside the building).
Statements made at this meeting and site visit by representatives of the Contractor, Owner, Architect, Engineers, and/or others are not binding and do not change the RFP documents or bidding requirements unless such statements are confirmed by written Addendum to the RFP.
Proposals must utilize the specified PROPOSAL FORM and AFFIDAVITS and be delivered or emailed to arrive at Hoffman Construction Company of America at 420 W Washington St., Suite A, Boise, Idaho 83702, Email BIDS@hoffmancorp.com, no later than 2:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time, July 29, 2025. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Owner’s Representative.
