Voyager’s Village Affordable Housing Project – Gerding Builders

Description: A 41-unit affordable housing complex is planned for a long-vacant lot north of downtown Salem.

Voyagers Village Apartments, a four-story building with indoor and outdoor common areas, is planned for Commercial Street between Pine and Grove streets. Local nonprofit Micronesian Island Community is undertaking the project.

The group, which aims to empower Micronesian and Pacific Island communities while preserving their heritage, bought the property for $500,000 in 2023, according to Marion County property records.
