Hoffman Construction Company of America, Construction Manager/General Contractor (“CM/GC”) for West Boise Water Renewal Facility (“Project”) being performed for The City of Boise, Idaho (“Owner”) requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package BP#4 – Secondary Capacity Expansion Package 1. This bid package includes the following: Civil, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Sheet Metal Façade, Sheet Metal Roofing, Dampproofing, Doors, Glazing, Fire Protection Specialties, Painting, Mechanical, Process & HVAC,, Electrical & I&C and Landscaping.
A non-mandatory, but strongly encouraged, pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 2:00 PM MDT, May 13, 2025. Attendees are to meet at the WaterShed Building 11818 W Joplin Rd, Ancell Ave Entrance B, Boise, Idaho 83714. Attendees must bring/wear their own OSHA-compliant Helmet and Safety Glasses, Reflective Vest, gloves, long pants, and boots in order to attend the job walk following the pre-bid meeting. Statements made at the pre-bid meeting by representatives of the Contractor, Owner, Architect, Engineers, and/or others are not binding and do not change the RFP documents or bidding requirements unless such statements are confirmed by written Addendum to the RFP.
Sealed bids are required to be submitted either electronically via Smartbid or delivered to Hoffman Construction Company of America, 420 W Washington St., Suite A, Boise, ID 83702 no later than 2:00 p.m. MDT, June 3, 2025. A completed Subcontractor/Vendor Questionnaire including latest year-end safety and financial information should be emailed separately to bids@hoffmancorp.com. The inclusion of non-essential information e.g. marketing/promotional material, safety manuals, resumes, etc. is strongly discouraged. Bids that are materially incomplete, are directed to other locations or received after the bid deadline will not be considered.
Bids must be complete and clearly labeled: “Bid Package: #4 – Secondary Capacity Expansion Package 1, West Boise Water Renewal Facility” and include Bidder’s name and address. There will be a public opening of bids. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Owner’s Representative. Individual bid responsiveness will be reviewed prior to award.
